1. Information We Collect

We keep collection to what the app actually needs to work:

• Device information. Your IP address, operating system, and basic usage statistics (such as time spent in the app and screens viewed), which help us keep Luce stable and improve it.
• Account information. Luce signs you in with Apple. We receive an Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, a private relay email address — used only to create and manage your account.
• Media you choose. To generate results, the app needs access to the photos, images, and videos you select. We use them to produce the output you ask for, and we keep your selected media and the results in your account so you can access your gallery and history until you delete them.

2. AI Processing and Providers

Luce's photo and video generation runs on specialized AI infrastructure operated by third parties. To create your results, we send the relevant content to these providers.

What we send

Only the photos and video clips you select for a given generation. Nothing else from your device is shared for this purpose.

Who receives it

We work with a focused set of AI providers:

• OpenAI
• Google
• Kling
• fal.ai

How your data is protected

Your content is sent for a single reason: to produce the result you requested. These providers are not permitted to reuse your media for their own purposes, and we never hand your personal data to third parties to train their AI models without your explicit consent. Any copy held by these providers for processing is temporary and is deleted from their systems afterward (for example, fal.ai retains files for a limited period of up to 7 days before deletion).

3. Faces in Your Media

Some effects work with photos or videos that contain faces — for example, to apply a visual style. Before any such content is processed, we check only whether a person is present in your selected image, to help produce a good result.

• No biometric profiling. We do not use faces to identify or authenticate anyone, we do not perform face-swapping, and we never build biometric or facial-recognition profiles. No facial features are measured, mapped, or stored as biometric data.
• How your content is stored.The images you select and the results you generate are kept in your account so you can access your gallery and history. They remain until you delete them — either individually or by removing your account via “Delete Account.” When your content is sent to our AI providers for processing, their copy is temporary and is deleted from their systems after processing (for example, fal.ai retains files for a limited period of up to 7 days before deletion).

4. Services We Rely On

Beyond AI generation, we use a few established services to run and improve the app:

• Infrastructure & stability: Firebase (Crashlytics and Analytics)
• Subscriptions: RevenueCat
• Engagement & analytics: Facebook SDK, OneSignal, and Amplitude

5. Your Choices and Control

When you use the generation features, you're agreeing to have the media you select sent to our AI providers as described above.

• Opting out. You can stop all data collection at any time by deleting the app.
• Deleting your data.You can remove your account and everything associated with it directly in the app via “Delete Account,” or by writing to us at support@acestudio.app.

6. Children

Luce isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If we learn that we have, we'll delete it right away.
